Latin Via Proverbs and Vulgate Verses: The Wiki

This wiki website accompanies the following Lulu books:

(1) Latin Via Proverbs: 4000 Proverbs, Mottoes and Sayings for Students of Latin

(2) Vulgate Verses: 4000 Sayings from the Bible for Teachers and Students of Latin

To browse through the books here at the wiki, you can start at Proverbs  Group 1 or Vulgate Group 1. Please note that the wiki does not contain the "Grammar Guide" which outlines the grammatical organization of each book. In order to see how the contents of the books are organized grammatically, you will need to have a copy of the book in hand; the grammatical categories are listed as running footers along the bottom of each page in the printed books. I've also got a list of Errata to be corrected in the next edition of the books.

Dear Laura,
I am a 49 yo student of Latin, I find your readings to be wonderful, I am hoping to put together a converstional Latin page/ podcast.
One thing that must point out, your readings are so smooth and soothing, and just as the words are forming in my head, comes that god awfully loud DING, it causes me to to twitch, and is so distracting, I forget what I've just heard, and then dread it coming again, could you not replace it with a gentle tone? Forgive the boldness of an old guy, Cheers Blake.......... Blake2go@yahoo.com p.s please write me as I have no idea how to contact you, new to this site, B
